ABSTRACT
Hypothermia is defined as a core body temperature less than 35°C. When considering signs, symptoms and treatment it is useful to classify it as mild (35-32°C), moderate (32-30°C), or severe (less than 30°C). These temperature ranges are arbitrary and other classifications are available.
