ABSTRACT
In this chapter I wish to look more closely at the Determinacy Thesis concerning personal identity introduced in Chapter 1. Recently discussions of personal identity have come to be focused more and more on this thesis, with proponents of the Simple View stoutly defending it, and proponents of the Complex View denying it.
