ABSTRACT

The production and consumption of other goods and the provision of services such as healthcare and education also vary greatly among the regions and countries of the world. For obvious reasons the intake of food does not vary as widely as the ownership of cars, although the composition and quality of diet, as opposed to quantity, do vary considerably.
