Giving Feedback to Your Mentee
Instead of just providing you with a list of guidelines for giving effective feedback, we should start by considering the answers to a number of questions about the context:
What is your trainee thinlung after teaching a lesson that you have observed? What is he or she expecting you to say? Will the thoughts and expectations differ according to the background, perhaps a previous career, that your trainee has experienced? How will your trainee's expectations change as the training progresses? How will you empower the trainee to help you improve your teaching too?
