Structured Mentoring

Good mentors actively manage their mentoring, by planning, evaluating and orchestrating their mentoring sessions. Good mentoring does not just happen. It is the result of prioritizing, sound management and structuring. This is not to say that each and every aspect of mentoring should be preplanned. Mentoring must operate flexibly to enable the mentor to be reactive where necessary within a proactive framework. But how is this balance to be achieved?
