ABSTRACT
The working memory model of Baddeley and Hitch (1974) is one of a number of models which propose that human memory can be divided into three broad categories or systems known as sensory memory, short-term memory (STM) and long-term memory (LTM). These systems differ according to the length of time they hold or store memory.
