ABSTRACT

Actually, it isn’t a cube. It’s a multi-dimensional hyperspace, but The Multidimensional Hyper space Curriculum does not exactly have a ring to it. Like all models the cubic curriculum is a simplification of the real world, an attempt to reduce enormous complexity down to something one can try to get inside and explore, while distorting as little as possible in the process. It offers a way of looking at the curriculum from several angles, especially in terms of the subjects being studied, the themes that reach across subjects, and methods of teaching and learning. These related matters can then be considered both separately and in combination.
