Thus they travailed two daies together with prosperous windes, passing away the time in the best manner hee could, but the third day there arose a great torment in so terrible sort, that the shippe wherein they were was in great perill to bee lost. The windes dyd increase every moment more and more, in such furious sort, that all the cunning of the marriners did not serve for the government of the ship, but were driven of necessitie for to yeeld hir unto the curtesie of the winde and seas, driving wheresoever it pleased them.
