ABSTRACT
Sculptor Manzù’s work, including bronze figures, still-lifes and biblical and mythological scenes, is strongly informed by Greek and Roman influences and other classicist examples, especially Donatello. It is a figurative and representational art, yet distinctly modern and original in its simplification of form and geometric effect.
