ABSTRACT
This chapter will present the findings of the study from each interviewee group responses: 1) women’s groups, 2) MYWO elected officials and staff, 3) foreign donors, 4) Kenyan government ministry bureaucrats and 5) other relevant persons. Their responses will be presented in summary form. There are no end notes to this chapter purposely, because of promises of anonymity and confidentiality which most, though not all, interviewees requested. Also, the universal “she” will be used to refer to all women’s group members, MYWO staff, ministry bureaucrats and other relevant interviewees, regardless of the interviewee’s gender. Besides the universal “she” encompassing both the literal “she” and “he,” the use of this form attempts to further protect the anonymity of the interviewees.
