ABSTRACT
The aim of this chapter is to present educational and occupational choice as a complex interaction of factors that affect women and men in different ways and at every point of ‘choice’ in the decision-making process. This complexity has important implications for the future of careers psychology, organisation development and, because of the nature of changes taking place in the job arena, society in general.
