Making a common unity: inclusion through differentiation

Strategies for differentiating learning in all areas of the curriculum are determined by the range of abilities and needs of the pupils within a given class. Drama is no different and demands as much attention as other subjects. Urban classrooms, in particular, stretch the teacher’s aptitude in ensuring that the range of needs from the most able to the least able are catered for, while also ensuring that pupils who have been identified as SEN, EAL or G&T are supported, encouraged and challenged appropriately.
