ABSTRACT
The feature that unites Atlantic rock art is the presence of circular motifs. What distinguishes Galician petroglyphs from those in Britain and Ireland is the practice of drawing animals as well. But both these areas have another characteristic in common, for they each include a variety of different designs which are unevenly distributed about the prehistoric landscape.
