ABSTRACT
Albinism is a condition in which there is a defect in melanogenesis or related processes. It is a disorder widespread throughout the animal kingdom. In ocular albinism, only the eye is affected. In oculocutaneous albinism, the eye and skin (as well as hair) are affected.
