ABSTRACT
Behçet’s disease is a multisystem inflammatory disorder of unknown cause, that takes its name from the Turkish dermatologist Hulûsi Behçet who described the condition in 1937, although the clinical triad of uveitis with oral and genital ulceration was probably first recognized by Hippocrates.
