Why do people feel compelled to do theatre in unconducive situations like streets and parks? Anyone who has tried it will know that the first time out there can be a very nerve-racking experience even for experienced actors, it is a very exposed situation and requires quite a courageous leap. Most performers find it quite hard to articulate why they got into it in the first place.
