ABSTRACT
This chapter is about an Islamic revival movement, popularly known as dakwah, at the grassroots in Malaysia. More specifically, it is a narrative and analysis of how one becomes a dakwah activist, a much neglected question in the study of Malaysian Islamic revivalism.
