ABSTRACT
This chapter focuses on the work-family interface and parental unemployment from children’s perspective. Increased part-time work, flexible working hours, participation of women in the workforce and change in work/family policies are all labour-market issues to be discussed. Family changes in terms of gender and adult-child relationships are also relevant.
