ABSTRACT
I have looked at particular aspects of mental life and their place in education-concepts, thinking, intelligence, imagination, motivation, emotion. These are interconnected in many ways. But what holds them together as parts of a whole? True, they are all mental phenomena. But this does not get us very far.
