Anthony. Can you show me the cause, Theophilus, why it should so be in our time?
Theophilus. Truly it is the terrible judgment of God against us, the cause whereof is unknown unto us. For the judgments of God, although they be hid from us, yet are they just and holy, as it appeareth in the xxv Psalm and x verse, most truly and godly, in the like argument, and as St Augustine sayeth, in his work Of Denunciation of Devils.
