After that I represent that the Mahometans, who acknowledge but one God and created angels good and bad, and the Devil as chief of them. That the Mahometans, I say, who have admitted the books of the New Testament, and reverence Jesus Christ as a great prophet, have nevertheless mixed in all their opinions a great many of those of the pagans, which they have for the most part received, and that they are no less inclined to divinations and witchcraft.
