ABSTRACT
Book(s) of Bible. The books of Kings were considered one unified book in Hebrew manuscripts (b. Baba Bathra 14b) but were divided first by the Septuagint and later in the Vulgate and English Bibles. The division was introduced into Hebrew Bibles in the Bomberg edition of 1518.
