ABSTRACT

The purposeful design of the e-retailer’s site is usually referred to as e-store design. This includes listing products or services for sale, providing product information including a product description and price for each item, enabling users to move about the site, providing a method of ordering and paying for merchandise, and generally listing broader company policies, such as security, privacy and guarantees if given. Apart from providing information, it is also necessary to design in other features, such as graphics and, in some cases, audio.
