ABSTRACT
This chapter addresses some of the aspects of retaining wall behaviour that have to be taken into account in design. Also, the limit equilibrium concepts developed in Chapter 7 are applied to two rather special forms of earth retaining structurereinforced soil retaining walls and tunnels.
