ABSTRACT
This chapter offers an account of the extent to which ‘a parent is a parent is a parent’, based on a cross-case review of the outcomes of the five examples of organisational support to Black parents in support of their children’s schooling and interactions with schools. It will highlight from the parents’ perspective their current experiences of home-school relations and involvement with the organisations.
