ABSTRACT
Of all the media available to educators, television and video come in the most diverse forms, have arguably the greatest potential for teaching and learning, and are probably the least well used. Following the definitions in Chapter 3, ‘video’ describes the generic features of the medium, such as moving pictures combined with audio. ‘Television’ refers to a particular form and organization of communication that is dependent on the medium of video.
