ABSTRACT
This chapter considers how observation of other teachers at work can help you learn about teaching and about pupils . At first it may seem easy – as if it is no more than sitting and watching. However, you will soon find that it can be difficult initially to know what to look for, or that there are actually too many things on which to concentrate! The students commenting here explain how observation benefited them, and how they set about it.
