ABSTRACT
This chapter explores what it feels like to learn to teach, how it affects how you perceive yourself and how others think of you. The comments you will find here come from the responses of over sixty student teachers to two simple prompts, explained in the main text. The students were representative of a range of subject specialisms including Mathematics, MFL, Science, History, Geography, Physical Education, Religious Studies and English.
