ABSTRACT

This concluding chapter draws together the plethora of advice from student teachers, tutors and mentors from the richness of the training experiences they have enjoyed, lived through or witnessed. It is clear that while learning to teach, learning from of observation of established teachers and working alongside other colleagues or students can inform your preparation and challenge your thinking about your role in the learning process along the way. Through these experiences you will gain a clearer understanding about teaching, about your subject and the whole curriculum, about the pupils and about yourself.
