ABSTRACT
If co-consciousness cannot be explained in terms of introspection or awareness (of the pure sort), should we conclude that it is a basic relationship, a relationship about which nothing informative can be said? This conclusion would only be justified if there were no prospect of an alternative explanation, and there is at least one further approach that is worth looking into, an approach which appeals to the spatial character of consciousness.
