ABSTRACT

A whiteboard is simply a board which teachers and students can write on to make notes or draw illustrations as part of general class work. An interactive whiteboard takes this concept further with the use of computer technology to add text and illustrations, as well as other media to engage students in fully interactive classroom activities. An interactive whiteboard is therefore analogous to a standard whiteboard, but with the ability to incorporate all the features of computer technology to develop media-rich interactive resources to support teaching and learning.
