ABSTRACT
To combat the spread of the house longhorn beetle, special treatment of softwood timber used in building is required in the following areas; the Urban District Councils of Chertsey, Esher, Farnborough, Farnham, Frimley and Camberley, Staines, Sunbury, Walton and Weybridge and Woking, and in the Rural District Councils of Easthampstead, Guildford, Hartley, Wintney and Hambledon. The following treatments are regarded as good practice.
