ABSTRACT
Our viewpoint in this chapter is that of a general contracting organization invited to bid for a fixed price lump sum contract to construct Works in accordance with the drawings, specification and other operative information. We shall assume that the design is complete, that the specification prescribes the products to be used (see Chapter 10), and that production drawings have been prepared.
