ABSTRACT

The television studio is an important part of the TV production process. A TV studio is expensive to run, but it accomplishes a number of objectives in one place and at one time. The essence of a TV studio is that it is a multicamera environment capable of creating whole programmes in one space. Television studios vary in size, availability and complexity of electronic equipment, and what they are capable of doing. Some are able to host a studio audience while others are compact and designed for news bulletins or sports broadcasts.
