Founded in 1945, by Dr. Fritz Sennheiser, near Hannover, Germany. The company has built its professional reputation on high-quality studio microphones and wireless microphone systems, and it also produces headphones that are used by both professionals and hi-fi enthusiasts, worldwide. One of its more notable consumer-product breakthroughs was the “open-aire” headphone design.
