ABSTRACT

Two similar labels sold by Sears, Roebuck and Co. by mail order in the 1920s. The first had material from Olympic and Paramount; it was on sale in 1924. The second had material from Gennett, and was sold from 1928 to 1930. [Kendziora 1967/1; Rust 1978.]

A New York firm, established in 1916 at 8 W. 20th St. sold the Supertone line of disc players, in three models, ranging from $15 to $100. A report of February 1921 stated that the company was to be reorganized by its creditors.
