ABSTRACT
INTRODUCTION From the reproductive point of view the female lifecycle can be conveniently divided into three parts: from birth to menarche, from menarche to menopause, and the post-menopause era. Definitions of various terms used in reproductive medicine are given in Table 3.1. A graphical representation of some of these definitions is shown in Figure 3.1.
