Conclusion to Part V

Part V described the inference problem in MLS/RDBMSs. In Chapter 12 we provided a perspective of the inference problem. We also discussed statistical database inference as well as the complexity of the inference problem. In addition we discussed the use of logic databases for handling the inference problem. In Chapters 13 and 14 we discussed our research on the inference problem. In Chapter 13 we discussed security-constraint processing and in Chapter 14 we discussed the use of conceptual structures.
