ABSTRACT

If dialectical sublation is not a process whose terms and operation are fixed in advance, frozen and immutable, the Aufhebung still needs to be shown as responding to its own law, the law that requires it to transform and simplify itself. Far from enforcing a violent stoppage of the dialectical progress, the advent of Absolute Knowledge will imply instead the exact opposite: its metamorphosis. Dialectical sublation will become absolute sublation – its own absolution.
