ABSTRACT
Both B. henselae and A. felis are slender, poorly staining, small, Gram-negative bacilli. B. henselae is slightly curved, bearing a morphologic resemblance to Campylobacter species. A. felis is motile through a single polar or lateral flagellum, whereas B. henselae is non-motile.
