ABSTRACT
In this chapter a new approach is discussed for studying ε-uniform well conditioning of difference schemes. For this, a model boundary value problem for a linear ordinary convection-diffusion differential equation is considered. Some results are also given on the investigation of conditioning of difference schemes and their matrices to a boundary value problem for a singularly perturbed parabolic convection-diffusion equation.
