Bill became aware that he had a health problem but delayed seeking medical advice for nearly a year. The reasons for the delay included several obstacles:
two of his friends were dying of cancer at this time he had to negotiate disability access he had some responsibilities for an elderly relative he was frightened he wanted to finish some professional work.
