ABSTRACT

CHARLES EUGÈNE QUINQUAUD was born in Paris in 1841. He began his medical studies at Limoges, and received his M.D. in Paris in 1874. In 1878 he became a Médicin des Hôpitaux, and in 1888 became affiliated with l’Hôpital Saint Louis, with which institution he remained until his premature death in 1894. He was greatly influenced by Bazin, and was associated with him during his training.
