ABSTRACT

JOSEF JADASSOHN was born September 10, 1860, in Liegenitz, Schleisen. His medical studies were pursued at the Universities of Göttingen, Heidelberg, Leipzig, and Breslau. He took his degree in the latter city in 1887, and remained there as an assistant to Neisser until 1892. In 1896 he was called to Bern as Professor of Dermatology, and after 20 years work in that city, he returned to Breslau where he stayed until his retirement in 1931.
