ABSTRACT
EDUARD JACOBI was born in Liegnitz on January 20, 1862. After completing studies in Freiburg, Breslau, Würzburg and Halle, he returned to the University of Freiburg in 1889 to organize a Department of Dermatology. Within six years he was appointed Professor, a post which he held until his death in 1915.
