ABSTRACT
STUART DOUGLAS ALLEN was born in Sydney, Australia, February 4, 1900. After graduation from the University of Sydney in 1924, he practiced in that city as a general medical consultant until his retirement. He was a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, and Lecturer in Clinical Medicine in the Royal North Shore Hospital at Sydney. He served in both World Wars, and was a Specialist Physician in the latter. Dr. Allen died on August 11, 1979.
