ABSTRACT
In recent years indoor air quality (IAQ) problems leading to the so-called sick building syndrome have fed considerable litigation. Personal injury claims, which utilise remedies under insurance disability and workers’ compensation laws, or the Occupational Safety and Hazard Act, as well as property damage, constructive eviction, and design and construction defect claims may relate to IAQ problems.
