ABSTRACT
The volume of manuscripts in which this speech is found consists in the main of items by Arthur Hildersham, one of Cartwright’s literary executors 1 . The first items, however, are by another Puritan, “R. G.”, whom it is possible from internal evidence to identify as Richard Greenham.
