ABSTRACT
Once the test is planned and tweaked to make certain that process is as valuable as feasibly possible, there remains the practical preparation for the test. Preparing for a test is not as simple as one may conclude. All a hacker may have to do is download his favorite tool and he is off and running. When getting ready to execute a controlled attack there is much more that must be completed long before the first packet hits the wire.
