ABSTRACT
Most of the advantages, disadvantages and problems associated with loft conversions have been dealt with in the last three projects. The openable roof window is a very practical and cost-effective way of introducing light and ventilation into a converted roof space but there are quite a number of problems that will be encountered even with this simple job.
